Weekly Activities

Sunday Services:

From the 11th September, our Sunday morning service will be held at Bushfield School at 11am and incorporates an optional Sunday School for children of 4 to 10 years. A room is available for parents with very young children if they wish to take them out of the service for a while. We also operate a crèche. Children over ten years stay in the main meeting. Occasionally the service is followed by a lunch.

The evening service will still be held at Emmanuel Hall at 6.30pm and tea and coffee are served afterwards.

The preaching at both services normally takes the form of an exposition of a Bible passage and is consecutive from week to week.

We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month, either morning or evening. Visitors are welcome to this service but we ask that only those who are baptised believers and who are in membership with a church take bread and wine when it is passed round.

They worshipped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.

Luke 24 v. 52-53

They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of the bread and prayers. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their numbers daily those who were being saved.

Acts 2 v. 42, 46-47
