"I saw seven golden lampstands and among the lampstands was
someone 'like a son of man'. In his right hand he held seven stars.
The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven
lampstands are the seven churches."
REVELATION v1 12b-13a, 16a, 20b.
Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a
time of peace. It was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit,
it grew in numbers, living in the fear of the Lord.
ACTS 9 v 31
Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, Let us go back and visit
the brothers in all the towns where we preached the word of the
Lord and see how they are doing.
ACTS 15 v 36
How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!
PSALM 133 v 1

Wolverton
Evangelical Church is affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent
Churches (FIEC), a national grouping of about 470 churches.
That affiliation is expressed in practical communication
in our local geographical area. An area church leaders meeting
and newsletter gives us a fellowship link with Goldington,
Flitwick, Hitchin, Wootton, Lavendon and Dunstable(West Street)
churches.
We also link with Buckingham Evangelical Church,
the Evangelical Free Church Stony Stratford, Slapton and Wappenham
Evangelical Free Church, the church planting work at Old Farm
Park, Kempston Evangelical Church and Dunstable Baptist Church.
Wider fellowship is gained through our pastor's
membership with The Westminster Fellowship, the Bedford and
District Ministers Fraternal and the FIEC Pastors Association.
We desire to recognise every local church
where the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is faithfully preached
and where the Bible is accepted as God's Word and upheld as
being sufficient for all matters of faith and practice. We
do not believe it right to join with churches where these
central issues are not clearly adhered to.
